Although quite some time had passed since leaving the underground dungeon, we still hadn't gotten far from its vicinity.

‘She looks so happy. How am I supposed to suggest that we get going?’

Like an elementary schooler visiting their grandmother's countryside home for summer vacation, Iris roamed freely through the forest.

Looking at her from behind as she wandered around without a care, as though there were nothing to worry about even if she walked barefoot, I could easily picture a fairy from a novel.

I followed behind Iris.

My eyes were naturally drawn to scenery quite different from the forest I had walked through with Cheon Yeo-hwa.

The area was filled in every direction with trees soaring so high they seemed to cover the sky, yet it wasn't unpleasantly humid like a jungle.

Gentle sunlight filtered down through the leaves and softly embraced the entire forest.
