"Sorry to interrupt, but could you explain what happened first?"

The person in charge approached us.

We had just emerged from the battle. After hesitating a moment, he addressed Livi.

Come to think of it, we hadn't explained anything to him. We'd both been distracted by Asadal's sudden arrival.

Asadal was always proactive about dealing with Gates, but I hadn't expected one of their key forces to come all the way out here.

Livi gestured as if to say, 'Oh, right,' then laughed softly and said,

"I'm sorry. That should've been the first thing we did... Raebi, could you tell him about the monsters?"

She told me to step aside with the person in charge and talk privately. It seemed she didn't want Kim Hyeyeon to see me.

I couldn't tell whether it was because I was injured or because she wanted to avoid any political friction, but I decided to do as she asked...
