The morning after the raid, Kang Hana listened to my presentation and smiled without offering any particular advice.

Given how thorough she was, I thought she'd pick it apart from beginning to end.

"The Gate academic conference wants to hear what you know, Lady Raebi. There's no way I, a mere educational attendant, could improve on that."

She said she'd only checked to make sure nothing went against noble etiquette. She added that she didn't know nearly as much about monsters as I did.

Instead, she was very curious about where my knowledge had come from. I promised that I'd show her a 'surprise' someday.

She was one of the few people who knew about my origins. It was better to bring everyone along than to leave anyone out.

"I don't know where my knowledge comes from, either. Once the academic conference is over, I plan to look into it in earnest."
