Chapter 21: My Little Sister

There must be a reason Chris suddenly became an advanced Master.

Ever since I asked Chris for advice back when we lived in Edren, I hadn't asked him about anything I was curious about.

Chris was so terrible at explaining things, and I lacked the will to get stronger, so I naturally stopped asking him about enlightenment.

On a whim, I asked him for the first time in ages how it had happened, and Chris's answer was just what I'd expected.

"As I listened to the professor's explanation, I somehow felt like if I did it this way, something stuck in my chest would burst open, so I just..."

As expected, Chris seemed to have absolutely no aptitude for teaching anyone.

"Enough."

"... This is hard to understand again, isn't it?"
