Chapter 41: The First Step

As usual, I woke up early at dawn.

It had become a habit at some point.

This world was generally short on things to do.

Thanks to that, I’d gotten into the habit of going to bed early and getting up early, so my eyes opened automatically around this time.

I took a clock-like magic tool out of my inventory and checked the time. It was five in the morning.

As usual, I went outside to do a little practice before breakfast.

As expected, Chris was already there, training hard.

He was so focused that he hadn’t even noticed me arrive.

Not wanting to disturb him, I quietly found a place for myself, too.
