Tokyo had become hell.

Monsters that looked like a cross between humans and grasshoppers flew through the air, attacking people. Anyone touched by the powder released from their wings could neither stand nor even breathe, and collapsed to the ground.

And yet, strangely, no one died from their lungs and hearts failing to function properly.

As they suffered unending agony, the monsters seized their victims with fingers encased in exoskeletons and devoured them alive.

Watching from afar as people died without even being able to scream, the crowds succumbed to fear and madness. Everyone was trying to flee this hell.

Some ran blindly with nowhere in mind. Some were lucky enough to reach a shelter. Some hid behind cover, holding their breath. Others prayed to the gods and Buddha for salvation.

And some fought.

On the asphalt, scattered here and there with blood and magic stones, someone was putting on a dance performance...
