Even leaving Ein in the Sword Spirit's care makes combat much easier.
The monsters appearing on this 18th floor would be formidable foes for most challengers, but not for me.
Their numbers and intelligence were hardly an obstacle either. I had always excelled at battles of extermination.
No, come to think of it, saying I excelled at extermination battles was a little funny. I was already good at almost every kind of battle.
Mass battles against large numbers, duels against a few opponents, and pursuits of fleeing enemies.
Battles of attrition against enemies I couldn't overwhelm with sheer force, along with various other forms of combat.
If I had to name the areas where I was relatively weak, they would be defensive battles protecting a specific target and aerial combat.
Even those few weaknesses would disappear the moment I mastered magic.
Though no one would fault a close-combat warrior for being weak in aerial combat in the first place...
