144. Refusal
I looked over the map of the eighteenth floor posted on the community and the minimap once more.
The forest we'd escaped from was tucked away in an even more remote location than I'd expected—right at the very edge of the minimap.
If we'd taken the wrong direction, we probably would have encountered the indestructible barrier restricting the area before long.
“So what do we do now……”
Since the person we were looking for was a mage, it was obvious that we had to go to a mage tower. The problem was figuring out which mage tower.
Major mage towers like the Red and Blue Towers were clustered in one region, making them easy to find—but there was no way things would be that simple.
They were probably in a mage tower of some incredibly minor color. I had a feeling we'd end up visiting nearly every mage tower.
Of course, if I decided to search them all by myself, it wouldn't take too long. But on my own, there was no way to identify Ein's ‘Mom.’
If I could at least learn what she looked like, I might be able to manage somehow, but naturally, that was another problem...
