The Tower's system grants challengers an extremely high level of language comprehension by default.
This isn't merely translation; it even suitably adjusts ambiguous elements such as nuance and pronunciation.
Thanks to this, challengers in the Tower never have to suffer from being unable to communicate after being dropped into another world.
However, this ability is by no means all-purpose, and there are languages and scripts the system does not support.
The most prominent examples are the runic script and spell language used in magic.
And the Fake Sage's lecture assumed considerable knowledge of both runic script and spell language.
Listening to an academic subject I knew nothing about in a language I didn't understand, I couldn't help wondering what the hell I was doing.
