148. Preparations

The NPCs in the Tower of Trials differ slightly in appearance from server to server.

For example, the shepherd girl Nora whom I met on the second floor is called ‘Diane’ on Server 1556.

Their hair colors are a little different, and their height and build vary subtly as well. Only their basic personalities and assigned roles are the same.

In other words, they are like actors in a play. Put another way, even if their appearances differ slightly, they can basically all be considered the same person.

That was why I left Ein, who was playing with a glittering ball of mana, alone for a moment and opened the community.
