Mo Xi looked at her “slightly” shabby room, and despite having just taken a huge financial hit, a shameful desire to buy some furniture welled up inside her.

“Mo Xi, oh Mo Xi, just how broke are you? Is now really the time to buy furniture?” Mo Xi scolded herself.

This left Yu Kui, who was resting nearby, completely dumbfounded.

After a brief struggle with herself, Mo Xi managed to rein in her urge to spend and instead began brewing potions with her meager Paradise Coins.

“It’s just a shame that the recipe the Paradise gave me is so expensive to make. Otherwise, I’d definitely whip up a bottle to try it.” Mo Xi muttered as she brewed potions.

The higher the quality of a potion recipe, the more expensive the ingredients. By Mo Xi’s preliminary estimate, the materials for one batch of the potion would cost at least 10,000 Paradise Coins.

Though potions of this quality would certainly sell for a high price, with her current Potioncraft level at nine and a half, Mo Xi wasn’t confident she could succeed on the first try.

In this situation, steadily improving her strength and brewing potions that would grant her proficiency was the best course of action. Mo Xi wasn’t about to trust her -1 Luck.
