It was during our journey from Bevent Fortress to the Stein territory.

"However, I still would have liked to fight the War Princess and one of that empire's generals."

Queen Sapia-sama complained along those lines.

Lapilia and Rivote had respectfully declined to spar with Sapia-sama.

According to them, they might stand a chance at commanding troops, but they could not beat an opponent who could defeat Sazaby in a one-on-one fight.

As I listened beside them, I found the answer somewhat surprising. Taken at face value, their words meant that they recognized Sazaby as superior, at least in terms of individual strength.

In fact, after hearing their answers, Sapia-sama merely murmured, "I see," and did not press them any further. Perhaps there was something that passed between masters at a level I could not understand.

Still curious, I asked Lapilia and Wickhart about it later.

"In a one-on-one fight with the same weapons, the people I'd least want to fight are Wickhart, the twins, Sazaby, and Nelphia, in that order. It depends on the weapon, but Dick belongs on that list too. In a unit battle, I'd want to avoid Rivote and the twins."

Wickhart said, "The people I personally wouldn't want to encounter on the battlefield are the twins, Sazaby, and Dick. As a unit, I'd definitely want to avoid Rivote and Lapilia."...
