With the sea breeze washing over my entire body, Captain Grugood-san struck up a conversation with me.

We were at sea, on our way from Rudek to the Empire.

Grugood-san and I had once sat around a campfire together on a remote island.

Grugood-san was older than me, but it seemed that anyone Northvel-sama acknowledged became an “older brother” or “older sister” to him.

Honestly, he seemed more like Northvel-sama’s lackey than his subordinate.

Even so, Grugood-san was a skilled sailor.
