“If the Says Empire and the three kingdoms unite, even the Fight Empire won’t dare start a war recklessly in its current state. Its losses to the Hydra were simply too great. Half its soldiers died, and few of the survivors are in fighting shape. It also lost ten Sword Masters to the Dark Knights during the war. The Seven Stars survived, but I hear they still haven’t fully recovered.”

“You’ve learned a lot.”

“Information is important. The situation on the continent is turbulent, too. I think we need to understand what’s going on if we don’t want to get swept up in it.”

“You sound less like an acting king and more like the king himself.”

“Haha, I haven’t even had my coronation yet. Fortunately, it looks like I’ll be able to hold it as scheduled, though.”

Lloyd scratched the back of his head, looking embarrassed.

He had been carrying out his duties as acting king, but strictly speaking, he was not yet king.

His authority was limited to that of an acting king, after all.

That was why a few nobles were making such absurd remarks.
