When Jade's thoughts reached that point, Systia let out a gasp of astonishment.

It was because she could tell he wasn't insane, but had truly come from another world.

His life had flashed by like a panorama, but it had been more than enough to read Jade's—or rather, Kang Chan-woo's—life.

“It’s a place called Earth. It’s the world where I was born and died. To be precise, I suppose I should call it another dimension.”

“So you really are from another world. I knew other dimensions existed, but I never thought someone would actually cross over from one. Then again, even a ninth-class lich made it here. What surprises me is that you crossed over without even realizing it.”

Systia looked utterly dumbfounded.

It was astonishing enough that he had come from another dimension, but the important point was that Jade had crossed over as a soul.

In other words, his soul was Kang Chan-woo's from Earth, while his body was Jade's from the continent of Arphedia.

That didn't mean there were two souls, either.

Only Kang Chan-woo's soul inhabited Jade's body now...
