"That looks delicious!"

That's Mom and Dad for you. For their first attempt, they did a really good job! The shape is nice, and they're fried perfectly.

"Shall we try some?"

"Yeah!"

Hearing Mom say that, I took a big bite of a freshly fried croquette. First, I tried it plain, without any sauce.

"Ah, hot... Hff, hff... Mmm, delicious!!"

It was scorching hot, but so good. The coating was crispy, and the inside was fluffy and soft, with plenty of flavor. The meat's rich flavor came through, too. It was seriously delicious.

Next, with sauce... Crunch. Mmm! So good! The sauce goes perfectly with it. This is definitely going to sell. It's unbelievably delicious.

"Mom, Dad, it's so good!"

"It really is delicious. I like these better than katsu."...
