Employee Leaders

That evening, at dinner, after I'd spent some time talking with the two of them.

I greeted Richard-sama upon my return and decided to ask him about the employees right away.

"Richard-sama, I've returned."

"I'm glad you made it back safely. Did you enjoy your time at your family home?"

"Yes. I got to see my family again after a long time, and I had a wonderful visit."

"That's good to hear."

Richard-sama smiled kindly as he said that. He really was such a good person. Somehow, talking with him always put me at ease.

It was easy to talk to him, so I always ended up telling him all sorts of things.

"Actually, there's something I'd like to discuss with you, Richard-sama. May I talk to you now? It's about my shop."
