The Townsend Ducal House

Anne-san showed me to the dining room, and when I entered, the members of the ducal house were already seated.

I almost panicked at the thought that I was late, but somehow managed to suppress it. I bowed deeply and greeted them with a smile.

"It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Leon. I am very pleased to have been invited to dinner this evening."

That was how I greeted them. Until just moments ago, I had been desperately searching my memories and thinking about what kind of wording would be appropriate.

The members of the ducal house looked surprised for a moment, but they quickly returned to their pleasant expressions. The middle-aged man sitting at the far end of the table returned my greeting.

"It's good to have you here, Leon-kun. Don't be so nervous. Have a seat."

This was probably Frederick-sama's father.

Anne-san showed me to my seat and pulled out the chair, so I sat down while taking care to look as graceful as possible.

Being told not to be nervous was no help... The atmosphere was so noble that my back straightened naturally.
