SUP (Status Up Points).
These are points you receive when you level up. In 〈Dan-Katsu〉, you could use them to allocate points toward your stat build.
With 【Muscle Warrior】, you gain 23 SUP (Status Up Points) every time you level up.
The amount of SUP you receive varies by Job, and 【Muscle Warrior】's 23 points put it at the top among all lower-tier Jobs.
That's an exceptionally high number.
For example, 【Swordsman】 gives you 12 SUP. That means you can increase your stats by a total of 12 points. The difference is obvious.
Furthermore, every Job in 〈Dan-Katsu〉 came with one 〈Unique Skill〉.
That was the developers' painstaking effort to give each Job its own identity, since there were so many Jobs that Skills overlapped, were simply stronger or weaker versions of one another, or had different names but identical effects.
【Muscle Warrior】's Unique Skill, 'Muscles Are Supreme. I Don't Need Anything Else,' increases your stats by a percentage based on how little equipment you're wearing. It's definitely quite useful early on, before you've gathered much gear, but... I don't want to play as a naked hulk.
Incidentally, it has no other Skills at all, so it's entirely focused on stats.
Well, people get fooled by those stats and add it to their main party, only to find it completely useless later on. It's one of the first Jobs they replace.
That was a long explanation, but if you want to get anywhere, you'd be better off not taking 【Muscle Warrior】.
That's precisely why I couldn't understand why everyone was cheering.
...Wait, what had Sierra just said?
"Hold on. You just casually dismissed it, but did you say 【Muscle Warrior】 was a good Job?"
"Yes."
"...Then does that mean there are others?"
"...Well, it's considered a popular Job."
"You're kidding."
"I've heard of it, too. Yesterday, some people from the 〈Muscles Are Supreme〉 Guild invited me to become a 【Muscle Warrior】."
"Bring them here right now! I'll crush them!"
"Eep! I-I turned them down, so it's okay!"
Hearing that someone had tried to turn Hannah into a musclebound Amazon, I decided to beat them up later.

The problem was that in this world—the real-life 〈Dan-Katsu〉—【Muscle Warrior】 was considered a good Job.

【Muscle Warrior】 could only serve as a main party member in mid-tier dungeons.

And 〈Dan-Katsu〉 had dungeons all the way up to the highest tier.

"Yes. Apparently, one of them was among the members of the group that cleared them."
