In her dream, Monica was chasing Nero.

“Nero, Nero, wait!”

As she desperately chased Nero, Monica understood in the back of her mind that this was a dream. The scenery around her kept changing from moment to moment.

At first, she was inside the house in Sazandoll. Next, she was at Serendia Academy.

As the scenery changed, Monica’s clothes did too, shifting from the outfit she’d recently worn when going out to her school uniform.

“Cyril-sama is angry. I think if I squish his paw pads, he’ll smile.”

Nero stopped, glanced back at Monica, then started walking briskly again.

“Wait up!” Monica pouted and chased after him.

Since she was dreaming, she didn’t get out of breath, but her pathetic, thudding run remained the same.
