Vol. 10 Ch. 6: The Fate of "Secret Formula No. 3"

The kitchen of the Duke of Reinburg's household was in a state of frantic chaos. Not only was the young lady who had been attending an academy far away returning home today, but royalty was staying there as well.

And today's chaos was only the opening skirmish. An envoy from a neighboring country would be arriving tomorrow or the day after. Naturally, they would have to prepare lavish meals nearly every day.

The kitchen after the first night's banquet was filled with the air of having just finished a battle. Of course, there was still plenty to do, such as cleaning up and preparing ingredients for tomorrow.

"Prince Felix seemed to have enjoyed tonight's dinner. Keep up the good work tomorrow as well."

When Peter, the servant who had waited on the guests, announced this to the kitchen, the cooks all breathed a sigh of relief.

Peter calmly delivered one more message to them.

"Lady Eliane also asked us to prepare a drink to deliver to Prince Felix."

"For His Highness? Would some fine wine do?"

Peter shook his head at the cook's suggestion and said solemnly,

"...Secret Formula No. 3."...
