After Felix left the room, Monica staggered to her feet, collapsed facedown on the bed, buried her face in the pillow, and groaned in a hoarse voice, "Auh, auh, auh, auh, auh..." In time, once the curse on her throat wore off, the itchy feeling would fade and her voice would return.

Monica wailed in anguish.
