From the day Monica revealed her true identity in the student council room, time passed in the blink of an eye.
Monica skipped classes and shut herself away in the workshop in Count Ambard's territory, making magical devices while returning to Serendia Academy whenever she had a spare moment to take lessons from Bridget in the student council room.
Bridget's special training focused on how to conduct herself appropriately as one of the Seven Sages.
It resembled the etiquette lessons at Serendia Academy, yet was subtly different.
"At Serendia Academy, they teach us, 'A lady must never be too forward, but modest and graceful,' but that is merely how a young noblewoman should behave. You must understand that it is different from how one of the Seven Sages should conduct herself."
Bridget declared this at the beginning of the special training.
The stage on which Monica would now fight was the Supreme Council, where the Kingdom of Ridill's most powerful figures had gathered.
Here, Monica would have to face power brokers skilled in political intrigue, beginning with Duke Clockford. If she behaved modestly like a model young noblewoman, she would simply be devoured.
Moreover, there would surely be those who did not even see a petite, soft-spoken girl as worth noticing. Even among the Seven Sages, it was not uncommon for the Silent Witch to be looked down on simply because she was a young woman.
"What you need is a confident bearing. If you want those around you to acknowledge that you are someone who belongs here... first, you must convince yourself. Tell yourself, 'I am someone who belongs here.'"...
