Vol. 5 Ch. 2: The Vivacious Young Lady

The joint tea-party exercise for the second-year Upper Division students was held as a tea party, with several tables set up in the courtyard.

The tea served at this tea party was to be prepared in the tea-party preparation room on the first floor of the school building.

Students who had servants had them brew the tea here, but Monica had to do it herself.

Monica's turn to serve tea would be last, so she would have to slip away in the middle of the tea party and brew it in the preparation room. However, she couldn't exactly carry a tin of tea leaves to the table, so she decided to bring it to the preparation room ahead of time.

The room was already full of servants preparing tea. Almost no one was wearing a school uniform.

Feeling awkward, Monica slipped furtively into the preparation room and searched for somewhere to put her tin of tea leaves.

(...Um, somewhere it won't get mixed up with everyone else's...)

As she looked around the preparation room, someone lightly tapped Monica on the shoulder.

"Hey."

"Eek—y-yes...!"...
