Beneath a clear, pleasant autumn sky, a splendid tea party was being held in the courtyard.

Even though it was merely a practical exercise, this was Serendia Academy, one of the most prestigious schools in the kingdom. The table settings were all first-rate, and beautiful flowers adorned every table. The selection was in no way inferior to that of a royal tea party. If the students had not been wearing their uniforms, one might have mistaken the courtyard for a room in the royal palace.

The girls savored the tea they had brought from home while chatting merrily.

When the teacher came by to grade them, they discussed the tea, teaware, and seasonal flowers. But the moment the teacher left the table, the young ladies' topics shifted to the latest fashions and rumors about romance.

The subject that came up most often was, naturally, the student council president, Felix Arc Ridill.

"His Highness is certain to choose a fiancée while he is still a student."

"I wonder who would be the most suitable candidate."

"I heard he is quite close to Lady Eliane as well."

"Lady Bridget, who serves on the student council with him, would make a fine match too."

The names they mentioned as candidates to become the Second Prince's fiancée were all young ladies who reigned at the top of Serendia Academy...
