Elective classes at Serendia Academy are basically held with all three grades together.

However, the third-years chose their elective classes at the start of the new school year, so their lessons were about a month and a half ahead of those of the first- and second-years.

At today's open class, the first- and second-years were mainly free to walk around and observe the third-years' classes.

Lana and Claudia had already decided which subjects to take, so each of them had gone to observe those classes.

Monica, who had not chosen even one class yet, was currently touring the various classrooms with Casey, who had invited her along during lunch.

As they walked, Monica looked over the materials they had been given beforehand. Reading them again, she could only marvel at the sheer variety of classes.

At Minerva, which she had once attended, every class apart from the basic liberal arts subjects had been related to magic, so she had never had this much trouble deciding.

As Monica groaned and pondered, Casey walking beside her opened her mouth.

"Swordsmanship and equestrianism are the most popular with the boys, as you might expect. Equestrianism in particular often requires a lottery, since there are only so many horses. Actually, I took it last year myself—equestrianism. I was lucky enough to win the lottery."

"C-Casey, you can ride a horse?"...
