Soon, Jiang Zhou finished work, and Chen Ju left the company with him. As soon as they reached the entrance, Jiang Zhou took his hand. Chen Ju jumped and instinctively tried to pull away.

“Oh, okay.” Chen Ju obediently shifted closer, his shoulder resting against Jiang Zhou’s.

Hand in hand, they walked toward the car parked by the roadside. Remembering Jiang Zhou’s warning that someone was watching, Chen Ju kept his body stiff, his expression and movements awkward.

When they reached the car, Jiang Zhou opened the door for him again and let him get in first. Chen Ju sat down in a daze and watched Jiang Zhou outside the window for a while.
