“If what you just said about liking me is true……. How much do you like me?”

“……W-what?”

“I mean, more than Lee Hyeonseong? Or less than him?”

I returned Baek Seol-ah's question with one of my own in an unwaveringly serious tone.

Even though she seemed to be in a somewhat—or rather, very—poor state at the moment.

From where I stood, this was something I had to confirm before moving on. After all, it was a confession of romantic feelings so shocking that even I couldn't help being shaken by it─.
