The moment I saw Seo Ahyun fling open the door and enter with a chillingly blank expression, I thought,

‘I’m screwed.’

I had a feeling I really was screwed. I stared blankly off into the distance.

It was obvious enough to say at this point, but my relationship with Seo Ahyun was rather special.

Or perhaps it would be fair to call it unusual. We were more than friends but less than lovers, though it was practically a foregone conclusion that our relationship would advance to the next level before long.

Neither Seo Ahyun nor I had the slightest disagreement over the fact that, if either of us began a new relationship, the other would be our predetermined partner.

Ahyun certainly had no reason to return to Kim Minjun now, and at present, she was looking only at me.

And I cherished her as a woman, with feelings for her that were by no means small.
