I managed to make hexogen explosive from products sold through Shangri-La and successfully tested its detonation.

Next, I used it to successfully detonate ANFO as well.

Now I could detonate ANFO without Explosion magic, bringing us one step closer to putting depth charges to practical use.

Once the explosives were packed into a drum, they would be depth charges—but there were still things to investigate before using them in the field.

I needed to find out how quickly a depth charge sank in the water.

Without that information, I couldn't detonate it at the right depth to hit an enemy.
