The dwarves have begun researching rum production in the cave where they've settled.

It doesn't seem to taste very good, but for anyone who likes strong liquor, nothing in this world can compare.

Since only Sakura can produce it, it has plenty of added value.

For now, they're growing only a little sugarcane, so they produce very little rum, which the dwarves drink themselves.

Once the area planted with sugarcane increases, they'll be brewing more liquor than even the dwarves can drink.

The dwarves are so absorbed in making liquor that construction of the blast furnace has ground to a halt.

The work is still on hold, but they're surveying the cliffs for iron ore and other mineral resources, and apparently have even started prospecting.

They've formed teams and are surveying the exposed cliffs over a distance of several dozen kilometers.

The cliffs continue as far as the wetlands where the Anis River flows, and it seems they can't survey any farther than that.

If they discover mineral resources and open a mine, that will give the domain an industry of its own, so I intend to give them every support I can...
