Egypt was quite a long way away. But flying in a private jet, we arrived in no time.

Sandworm? No matter how you looked at it, riding Sandworm across an entire continent would be too much.

This trip wasn't expected to take very long, so I didn't bring anyone else along.

The only people from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were personnel to handle the administrative matters.

My job was simple, anyway: go there, kill the monster, take a picture, sign some papers, and come back.

The government had agreed to take care of the complicated parts.

“We've arrived.”

As I stepped off the plane, hot air mixed with sand slapped my cheeks.

I never expected to revisit this place so soon.

There wasn't a single civilian in sight at the airport, leaving it deserted...
