Amethyst said her ability was acceleration.

Amethyst was pretty cute as she demonstrated punches that went whoosh, whoosh-whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh-whoosh through the air.

Using her acceleration ability, Amethyst leaped ahead as if she were flying, and Ruby followed, spewing flames.

Peridot and I chased after them inside a bubble.

Beyond the forest lay the ruins of an old city.

Running across the rooftops of collapsed buildings, Amethyst raced deeper into the city.

She looked as if something were chasing her, with no time to spare. If we caught up with her, I thought she’d be drenched in sweat.

"She seems pretty anxious."

"...I wish anxiety were all I felt, too."...
