The place where I summoned the Spirit King was the garden behind the Imperial Palace.

More precisely, it was what was known as the Imperial Garden, where the World Tree stood.

Elves specialize in spirits, and the World Tree, which could be considered the parent of all elves, would presumably be the pinnacle of that affinity.
