Evolution and Job Change (Rin Arc, Part 1)

Now that Kal's evolution and Job change are complete, we have to do Rin's as well. Since this is Rin's first evolution and Job change, I'm really looking forward to it.

I already know what Race and Job she'll get. She's practically certain to become a Lesser Dragon. I know that already, so that's not what I'm looking forward to. What I want to see is what Rin will look like.

"Kal grew from this size to about the size of a horse. Will Rin become about as big as she was when she was a Sprint Drake?"

"Kyu?"

As I pondered what she would look like after evolving, I picked Rin up from beside my feet. She would surely grow large enough for me to ride. Hmm, if that happened, today would be the last time I could carry her on my head or shoulder. It was a shame, but I couldn't stop Rin from growing just because of my selfishness. Reluctant as I was, I supposed it was time to evolve her.

"Rin, is there any Skill you want? You have two slots available, so don't hold back if there's something you want."

"Kyuu!"

"Oh, you do? Is it magic-related, or...?"

"Kyuu!"

"So it is magic-related."...
