With Olivier's permission, Fiene and I had come to a Singular Point in the northeastern part of the continent.

That place, located on the Empire's frontier, was called the Holy Peak, Shangri-La.

At first glance, it looked like nothing more than a gigantic mountain, but anyone who approached would notice the density of its magical power.

"Is this Shangri-La...? It's a little hard to breathe."

"I've cast a barrier around you. That's why it's hard to breathe. You'd probably have collapsed without it."

"So this mountain really is filled with that much magical power..."

The density of the magical power affected the plants as well.

The area near the summit was blanketed in flowers that emitted a pale green light.

"What are these flowers...?"

"Luminous Jade Flowers. They're rare flowers that aren't generally available. Depending on how they're used, they can become either medicine or poison. They only bloom in parts of Singular Points, so there are even quests to collect them."...
