"Ugh... That's disgusting, Rex. Not just your table manners—learn from Kuu-chan."

At Rex's sudden outburst, Tina and Kururu stared wide-eyed, while Parna looked disgusted. Rex immediately apologized with a "S-sorry" and wiped his mouth with a napkin.

"How many in your party?"

As the waitress asked, Kagami took in the scene with a vacant look, as though he'd just spotted someone troublesome.

"Party of zero. Thanks for the meal."

After replying, Kagami hurriedly turned around, took Alice by the hand, and reached for the door handle to leave. But just as he said, "Ah, I'm full just from the smell!" and started to step outside, a powerful hand clamped onto his shoulder and stopped him.

When he turned around, Rex was standing there with a triumphant smile, as if to say, "Got you."

"He's with me. I'll show him to our table. You can go."

"Of course. I'll bring water for two to your table right away."

At Rex's words, the waitress bowed politely and hurried off behind the counter. Rex then silently glared at Kagami. After giving Alice a brief glare, he jerked his chin as if to say, "Follow me," and started toward the table where Kururu and the others were seated...
