Volks, a former lumberjack, participated in a territorial war as a Conscript at the age of 18, taking five lives with a single axe.
Two were fellow conscripted farmers, one a Mercenary, one a warhorse, and the last a Knight riding the warhorse.

After breaking his axe thirteen times and killing over thirty men, he was granted Knighthood.
He had no manners or refinement. His horsemanship was terrible, and he lacked the tactics to lead soldiers – a knight of substandard quality.
However, if he was strong, he was viewed through rose-tinted glasses in Gord, so he was well-received wherever he went.

Volks tapped his palm with the axe handle as he spoke.
Since he didn't use a shield, iron plates were added to various parts of his chainmail, and combined with his massive build and two-handed axe, he was formidable...
