Pawn World is a game with a fairly long playtime, commonly known as a time-machine game.

When I first called my junior over, I booted it up prepared to play until lunchtime the next day.

But playing as a duo, we made much faster progress than I’d expected.

While one person could protect and develop the settlement, the other could go out on expeditions, which made things much easier.

While my junior expanded the base and farmed, I diligently went out on expeditions, doing the legwork.

“Tear it all down!”

I flew to a nearby enemy base in a makeshift shuttle.

I wiped them all out, dismantled the base, and loaded it onto the shuttle.

In Pawn World, it’s inevitable that you’ll eventually run short on resources.

There are also several stretches where you can only sit around blankly, sucking your fingers and waiting...
