At Manager Jeong Yuyeong’s words, Myeongjeon briefly wondered if he had misheard. Self-produced content… What did she mean? Self-produced content? What was that supposed to mean? But the thought soon vanished. He remembered a term he had learned recently.

Self-produced content, shortened to “self-con.”

Completely unrelated to its dictionary meaning, the term “self-con” is nowadays interpreted as “content produced independently by idols.”

Put simply, idols filming reality shows or vlogs among themselves, holding SNS events, and so on… Anything they produce on their own, without relying on another broadcaster or content-production company, for the sake of their fans or to attract more of them, is called self-produced content… or so ChatGPT had taught him.

Proud of himself for looking up something he didn’t know on ChatGPT—while unaware that the very fact he felt proud of it was proof he was an old man—Myeongjeon continued listening intently to Manager Jeong. It was an interesting story.
