I've been with my sister for as long as I can remember.
Looking back now, we lived in a pretty ramshackle place.
I have no memories of our parents. Did they leave after giving birth to me, or did they die? I never had the time to spare to think about things like that, so I never gave it much thought.
More important than that was figuring out how to survive today and tomorrow.
My sister always looked after little me, making sure I got food first. Back then, I never even wondered where it came from; day after day, I just ate whatever food was put in front of me.
