Coffee-Scented Cocktail

Come to think of it, the place we talked last time was a coffee shop too.

Unlike me, who doesn’t like coffee that much, she drank a bitter triple shot espresso to the last drop.

Then again, when you think of the Dusk Police, the first things that come to mind are coffee and donuts, aren’t they?

I don’t know about donuts, but this patrol officer definitely seemed to like coffee.

Wouldn’t she similarly like a cocktail with the taste and aroma of coffee?

'To do that… I definitely have to add Kahlúa.'

Kahlúa. A sweet coffee liqueur popular with the public and frequently used in cocktail mixing.

Of course, what we use in our bar isn’t the genuine article but counterfeits of widely varying quality, but Dragon President must have recently procured some, and a usable batch had come in.

“You are in luck. I happen to have a decent bottle of Kahlúa. Do you usually prefer sweet drinks, or do you prefer them on the bitter side?”

I figured it was probably the latter. A person who likes sweet things wouldn’t drink a triple shot espresso like water like that...
