Reunion with Stacy-sama

The day after spending a wonderful time with Martine and the others, I decided to go see Yoan.

He should be running his food stall in the morning, so to surprise him, I got out of the carriage just before the plaza and walked to the stall with Roger.

My clothes were pretty nice, so I stood out a little, but they were only about what a lower-ranking noble might wear. It probably wouldn't be a problem.

As Roger and I walked, my stall came into view. Oh! There seemed to be a few people in line. It was doing pretty well.

I went around behind the stall and approached Yoan without letting him notice me. Once the waiting customers were gone, I spoke to him.

"Yoan, long time no see!"

"Whoa!"

Yoan jumped in surprise at my words, then cautiously turned around. The moment he saw my face, he let out a sigh of relief.

"Leon-sama... Please don't play pranks on me! You really startled me."

"Haha, sorry, Yoan. I didn't think you'd be that surprised."...
