Schnelge's 'Soul Transmigration' had forcibly swapped our avatars. I immediately grasped what state this had put us in. The Skills we could use with our original avatars were unavailable, but we had no restrictions on using the Skills of the avatars we now inhabited. In other words, I could no longer do anything I had been able to do, while I could do everything Jigoro could do.
"Bwahahaha! So this is how it works!"
"You adapted way too fast, man..."
Jigoro was laughing happily as he fought Nigle alone. Less than a minute had passed since the battle began, yet he already seemed to have mastered Nenashi's avatar.
Jigoro had transformed the avatar of Nenashi, who specialized in mimicry, into a humanoid form and was fighting back with martial arts. Although he was inferior in Strength, Defense, and various other stats, Nenashi's avatar had a feature that more than made up for that disadvantage.
"Ssh!"
"Hmm, this is troublesome..."
That feature was the ability to extend its vine-formed arms and legs. Jigoro's limbs stretched out like the protagonist of some pirate manga, attacking Nigle from a distance. As one would expect of a Heroic Spirit, Nigle dodged the stretching blows or cut them down with the weapons he held.
However, it seemed difficult for him to counterattack as well. If he tried to approach, Jigoro would shed his humanoid form and attempt to capture him with vines covering his entire body. Nenashi's vines were densely covered in sharp thorns, so anyone caught by them would be crushed and shredded by the thorns. Nigle clearly wanted to avoid that.
"I'll keep coming at you! I'll make you want to get serious!"...
